Many of the faces below are friends. It's such a special honor to do the flowers for your friends' weddings. I've learned how to use flowers to express the extra bit of love I feel for them. As I approach events where I KNOW there is love everywhere, how do I make an event even more magical? And these friends' weddings helped me hone the recipe: extra attention, the beauty that nature provides, and love.
Arranging flowers has made me tap into the aesthetics I find most intuitive: the tangled, the bright, the slightly imperfect, the radiating, the symmetrical - all of it inspires me in some way and it coalesces into something akin to magic.
