We grow for ourselves and our family, as well as for sale and trade in the community.
Our organically grown plant starts, vegetables, and fruits, and free-range eggs are for sale as available. Although, note we have stopped growing vegetables for sale as of fall 2021. We hope we will have fruit options (and maybe leftover veggies) for sale in the coming year!
If you are local in Charles County and would like to set up a trade for our organic vegetables, please email us.

Some of the elements of permaculture and organic food production we utilize here in our farmsteading efforts:
- Creating balance with our natural setting – mushrooms, shade plantings, native plants
- Fruit and nuts – mulberries, hazelnuts, persimmons, elderberries
- Annual organic food production for our family
- Amateur herbalism – we grow many plants for our family’s health and wellbeing
- Upcoming we hope to offer classes for the budding homesteader or anyone hoping to become a bit more self-sufficient.
- Hopes for the future: sheep, meat chickens, a new barn for classes and events
